Obituary For Wayne Small

Obituary Born on the 29th of May, 1969, to loving parents Joe and Thelma Small, Wayne Small immediately filled the lives of those around him with his presence. He was the second of six children and grew up in the Bronx. Wayne attended 146 Elementary school and then moved on to 120 Junior High. During Wayne's adolescent years, his life took an unfortunate turn, and he obtained a master's degree in the School of Hard Knocks. However, like the musical icon Dennis Brown once said, you can’t keep a good man down. Regardless of his circumstances, nothing could hinder Wayne, and those difficult years molded and developed him into a strong individual when he was released. In 1996, Wayne married Patricia Wilson in Rochester, New York, and out of their union came Marie Small. During their 16 years of living together, they raised six beautiful children, Tylavis, Deon, Ponel, Keidron, and Kadejah, and then came knowledge. Wayne relocated to New York City around 2009, Where he acquired various jobs; he was a jack of all trades. He had a great passion for cooking and was excellent at it. His creativity and smooth hands in the kitchen and flavourful combinations would have your mouth watering for his piquant masterpieces. His culinary skills would always present him with opportunities to work as a chef. While living in New York, Wayne met Latida Waring, who bore him a daughter named Lanesha Waring. Wayne was a loving father, brother & son. He ensured that he was there for his children in every way possible. Wayne was a fun, caring person, and words cannot express the love and respect he had for his phenomenal and adoring parents. While everyone else addressed them by their Christian name, he always referred to them as mom and dad. Wayne’s love can never be replaced but will always be remembered. Wayne was preceded in death by both grandparents on his father’s side. Wayne leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memories, his children, his grandson; Sincere, his loving grandmother; Martha Henry, his Mom, Dad, sisters; Kim, Gwendolyn, Priscilla, his brothers; Joseph, Dwight, his nieces, nephews, host of Aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
