Obituary For Robert "Bowinky" L. Fields

Mr. Robert L. Fields "Bowinky", 64, of Stoneville, NC passed April 22, 2022. Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m Friday, April 29, 2022 with the funeral service beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel, Madison, NC.

Robert Louis Fields, son of the late Maggie Lee Fields, was born in Rockingham County, North Carolina on January 1, 1958. Robert departed this life on April 22, 2022, at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC.

As a native and resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina he attended the local public schools. During his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, outdoor work and watching movies. Robert “Bo” as he was affectionately known, love and cherished his family and the highlight of his day was spending time with his devoted wife.

He was a previous employee of Evans Trucking and Equity Meats. Bo worked in landscaping until his health declined.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Fields.

He is survived by his wife of 9 years; Jeanette King Fields of Stoneville, NC, son; Robert Louis Fields, II of Greensboro, NC, two daughters; Valerie Scales and Jessica Scales both of Greensboro, NC. Also left to cherish his memory; his brother; James Fields of Rockingham County, niece; Taneaka Kellam, two uncles; Mike Moore and Lemmy Scales, one honorary granddaughter; Tekayla King along with a host of other relatives and friends.
