Crawfordville - Deacon Ulice Smith, 86, was born October 21, 1935 in Cairo, Georgia transitioned peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 21, 2022 at 12:05 pm.

Viewing will be at Strong & Jones Funeral Home on Friday April 29, 2022 from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Homegoing celebration will be Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at Faith Christian Family Center, 310 Laura Lee Avenue, Tallahassee, Florida 32301, with burial at Oakland Cemetery.

Leaving to cherish his memories, his wife of 65 years, Susie Mae Smith; one daughter, Artsell Byrd; two sons, Leroy (Diane) Smith and Charles (Janicka) Smith; one sister; four sisters-in-law; seven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a goddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
