Eugene Edward Clark, the seventh of twelve children born to Ernest Tist Clark and Alice Mae Cleveland-Clark; on October 27, 1931, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by eight siblings, Walter Clark Sr., James Clark, Charlie Clark, Carrie Lee Billingslea, Ernest Clark Sr., Annie Ruth Clark, Margaret Ross, Richard Clark, and Eva Mae Clark-Murray. He was united in marriage to Betty Joyce Beckham-Clark on June 17, 1994.
He attended E. R. Carter Elementary School and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in June of 1950. Shortly after, he joined the United States Marines Corp. The details are as follows:

To further his education, he attended The University of Georgia, Georgia State University, and Wisconsin State University. He followed his family's legacy by becoming a Master Brick Mason. He later became a Vocational Training Teacher at The United States Penitentiary. He also taught at Douglas County Comprehensive High School, as well as owned and operated Clark Masonry for more than 40 years. Thereby, employing, teaching, and touching the lives of many. Consequently, he completed a copious amount of projects within Atlanta's infrastructure, as well as the East Coast. He later retired in Spring of 2014, and spent some of his leisure time supply teaching at Lillie E. Suder Elementary School.
Mr. Eugene E. Clark is survived by his wife Betty Clark, his two children Torre Eugene Clark and Christy Clark-Thompson. His stepchildren are Paris Geter, Dondra Wells, Chiquita Reese, 7 and his grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. His surviving siblings are Willie Clark, and Doris Askew, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
