Obituary For Mr. El'Rico O. Jones

Farrell A homegoing celebration in honor of Mr. El'Rico O. Jones will be held Monday , May 2, 2022 at 11am at Greater Mt. Zion COGIC 1825 Roemer Blvd. in Farrell, PA. El'Rico Omar Jones Sr. transitioned from this life Sunday April 24, 2022. He was born October 14, 1973 in Sharon Regional Hospital to the proud parents of Elder Jimmy Lee Wilder and Pastor Sandra M. Green. Favorite thing of course were the Pittsburgh Steelers, putting together puzzles and riding 4 Wheelers. He could often be found working on his Cadillac or 4 Wheeler bikes, but what we loved most was when he was on the barbecue grill or making the best cream cheese pies. We will forever miss his sweet smile and he will be forever his fathers pot of gold. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Elder Jimmy Lee Wilder (Seta) Sharon, PA, Pastor Sandra M. Green Hermitage, PA; his children, El'Rico Jones Jr. Farrell, PA, Riquan Jones Farrell, PA, Tyler Jones Las Vegas, NV, Devaughn Green Farrell, PA, Tandrea Brown Sharon, PA; his granddaughters, Aoki Washington, Aurora Jones both of Farrell, PA; his siblings Barbara Laws, Marino Harris both of Charlotte, N.C., Montiana Gilbert of Fayetteville, GA, Cordell Sewell of Sharon, PA, Dainyon Alphonso of Virginia, Brandi Roberts of Virginia, Marlene Dowdy Grey (Dale) of Meadville, PA, Elrico Annette Roberts Orlando, FL, Ricardo Noble Erie, PA, Jerlyn Wilder Farrell, PA, Ramone Williams Farrell, PA, Ishmael Wilder Farrell, PA, Laven Davis Sharon, PA, Brett Shepard Hermitage, PA; god sisters, Keshia Pegues Hermitage, PA, Tamatha Darden (Aaron) of Farrell, PA, a god brother, Antonio Gibson Farrell, PA and a very special uncle, Emmett Sewell Hermitage, PA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as friends that are truly family. El'Rico was preceded in death by his "Pops" Willie Lewis Green, his maternal grandparents, Samuel J. Sewell, Emma Brown Sewell, his uncle Samuel Sewell Jr. and his paternal grandparents Thomas Johnson and Annabelle Wright. The family will receive Monday May 2, 2022 from 10am-11am at the church. Please continue to follow CDC recommendations by wearing a mask and practice social distancing. Interment will be in Morefield Cemetery.
