OPEOUSAS – A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Octavia Williams, affectionately known by her family and friends as “Ms. Bea”, 80, who entered eternal rest on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Opelousas General Health System.

Ms. Bea’s memories are being cherished by: her two sons, Curtis (Shirley) Callis of Opelousas, LA and Kevin (Deidre) Williams of Baytown, TX; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Rev. Murphy and Octavia Lofton Williams; one brother, Walter Williams; one sister, Rosa Lee Holmes; and an aunt, Gustavia Lofton Brown.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Senior Village Nursing Home’s Staff, Opelousas General Health System’s Staff and Serenity Home Care and Hospice.
