Obituary For Martha Watson

(September 16, 1937 -- April 20, 2022 )

TYLER---Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Watson, 84, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1 p.m. The service will be held at Texas Northeast #2 Headquarters with Bishop David R. Houston serving as eulogist. FACE MASK RECOMMENDED. The services are under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mrs. Watson was born on September 16,1937 and transitioned on April 20, 2022. She graduated from Atlanta High School. She was a former choir member of Shiloh #1 Church in Shiloh, Texas and was a current member of Smith Temple Church of God in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sister. Left to cherish her memories are her spouse: Gene Watson of Tyler, Texas; daughter, Melissa Watson of Tyler; grandson, Andrew Watson of Tyler; one brother, C.M. Martin (Helen) of Amarillo; one sister, Louella Kidd (Warren) of Los Angeles, California; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Cook of Shiloh and Faye Baxter-Jones (Doug) of Tyler; one brother-in-law, Jacob Chamblee (Sarah) of Tyler, Texas; special nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
