Joyce Marie Wilson was born September 5, 1953 in Homerville, Georgia to the late Julia Wilson and Matthew Wilson. Growing up in Quitman, Georgia, she attended the Brooks County School system.

Joyce peacefully passed from this earthly life on April 17, 2022. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children Linda Godfrey, Jeannette Godfrey, Pamela Godfrey, Roy Randall, Lavar Randall, Martisha Randall, Thomas Miller and Santerria Johnson; her siblings Evelyn Miller and Earl Wilson, James Lawrence (deceased), Roosevelt Wilson (deceased) and Jeannette Hill (deceased); a huge host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and close friends near and far. WE LOVE YOU!

A celebration of life will be Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 3PM on the Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Lawn. Burial will follow in North End Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 3PM-7PM.
