Knoxville - Joyce Ann Wykle - of Knoxville passed away on April 28, 2022. She was born on May 9, 1944 in Knoxville, TN to the late Augusta and Ora Cates.

She was preceded in death by Husband, Nathaniel Wykle; Sons, Emanuel Wykle, Claude Cates, Parents Augusta and Ora Cates several sisters and brothers.

She is suvived by Daughters; Talisa Butler, Sheryl Goines, Javonna Euglon, Darrell Cates, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Pauline Cates, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 11:30-12:30 with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Micheal Chambers, Sr. officiating.

The final resting place will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. The family will assemble at Unity Mortuary at 3:00 p.m. to process to the Cemetery. A dove release will conclude in her honor.

Mrs. Wykle will lie in state on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
