Obituary For James A. Whalin

Mr. James Adam Whalin, 64, of Louisville, KY died on April 29, 2022 at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY.

Mr. Whalin was a native of Louisville, KY and the son of the late Nathaniel G. & Janav Whalin. He was a U. S. Navy veteran who enjoyed flea markets.

Survivors include his sons, James Whalin (Retina Simmons) of Sonora, KY and John Whalin of Louisville, KY; one sister, Sandra Whalin of Louisville, KY; one granddaughter, Symone Whalin and one step grandson, Keithyon Nelson; special friend, Jean Thomas of Elizabethtown, KY and her children, Bill Howell of Cincinnati, OH, Jason Fisher of Lexington, KY, Jeff Fisher of Aiken, SC and Jenny Fisher of Elizabethtown, KY.

Graveside service with military honors will be 12:30 pm on May 17, 2022 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on May 17, 2022 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.

I would like to express my condolences to Mr. Whalen's Family. James Whalin was a very nice person. we talk a bit when he come to the porch in his wheel chair. I will miss Mr. Whalin and so will his Neighbors. Gretel Paris, Tyler Park.

I don't know him. His information was along side my Uncle Leon (U.S. Army Ret). As a Marine, I want to acknowledge him in his death with a salute and condolences to his family.
