Kary Atwater Sr., affectionately known as Atwater or Red was born on Saturday, February 19, 1949 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Susie Atwater Amos and Howard Amos Jr. Kary was the second eldest sibling of 11 kids. Kary attended Drake High School in Thomaston, Georgia in his early twenties, Kary left Georgia and moved to Boston, Massachusetts to live with his aunt where he met his beloved late wife Levora Joyce Atwater. Kary ad Levora became husband and wife and from that union 4 children were born. They both relocated to Thomaston, Georgia where Kary began working in the Thomaston Textile Mill. Kary worked in Thomaston Mill for 13 years until his health had begun to fail. Kary then moved back to Boston , Massachusetts in 1996. Kary was a great father and grandfather and loved all of his family and friends. Kary had a very kind heart and a loving smile. Kary enjoyed life; he loved to fish, cook, dance, watch the Atlanta Falcons play football and watch some of his favorite TV shows which included Andy Griffin, Family Feud, Maury and Jerry Springer. He also loved his bible and drinking his coffee. Kary would sit on his front porch and speak to everyone that would walk or ride by. Kary would go to the store, meet a stranger and talk to them like he knew them for years. Cherished Memories Kary leaves to mourn his beloved 4 children: Levora J. Miller (Mark) Miller, Karen Joyce, Kary Atwater Jr., and Kevin Atwater (Scherlie Atwater) His siblings, Gary Atwater (Florence) Kenny Amos, Lenny Amos, Michael Amos, Ray Amos, Mark Amos, Gloria Amos, , Marilyn Dixon, Mark Smith, Marlene Riley, and Jeannie Amos (Amyer). His beloved aunt Barbara Ann Atwater of Boston, Massachusetts. His in-laws, Shirley J. Fisher (Silas) Brownie (Stephen) Irving, Jacqueline (Henry) Ansley, and Stephennia (Robert) Ansley. His 4 brothers, Frederick (Diane) Joyce, Ben Wilson, Steven (Alisha) Wilson, and Albert (Alisha) Wilson. Kary also leaves to mourn his beloved 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends
