A celebration of life for Pastor Donald Drew Little of Talladega, 61, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Faith Temple Ministries. Reverend James Curry and Reverend Kathy Curry are the pastors. Minister Dontavious D. Little will deliver the eulogy. Mask will be required. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Pastor Little will lie in state at the church one hour prior to his service. Visitation will be held from 1-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the funeral home. The family will not be receiving guest at their home on Wednesday.

Donald Drew Little was born to Robert Bennie Little and Fannie Cliff Little on October 31, 1960, in Chambers County, Alabama. He was the sixth of seven children.

At an early age, Donald was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. Once establishing a life in Talladega, Donald became a member of Faith Temple Ministries under the leadership of Pastors James and Kathy Curry. Under their leadership, Donald served in ministry any way that he could, but God had greater plans for him and his wife. The Lord called the two of them into ministry and they were both ordained in October 2008. In 2009, the Lord led them to establish their own church and from their obedience and faithfulness, Kingdom Authority Ministries was established. After completing his education, Donald became an employee of the City of Lanett. He served in various capacities with the city, but would be most notably remembered as serving as a fireman for the city. Upon relocating to Talladega, Donald began working for Coosa Valley Electric Co-Op. At his time of retirement in 2020, Donald had risen through the ranks and currently served as a foreman.

Donald made his transition into eternal life on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Little; and a brother, Robert Byron Little. He leaves to cherish his memories and continue his legacy: his loving wife of 40 years, Paula H. Little of Talladega, Alabama; his mother, Fannie C. Little of Lanett, Alabama; two daughters, Santori S. Little of Talladega, Alabama and Shawanda S. Murphy of Lanett, Alabama; three sons, Richard S. Little and Darrell Wilkerson of Talladega, Alabama and Dontavious D. (Tamara) Little of Oxford, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Majesty O. Little, Faith S. Battle, Charity A. Battle, Ariel S. Hall, Dontavious D. Little, Jr., Dylan A. Little, Daleigh R. Little, Declan C. Little and Donaldson D. Little; one great grandson, Carson D. Little; one sister, Edith Landers of Lanett, Alabama; four brothers, Bruce (Annette) Little of Camden, South Carolina, Melvin (Marva) Little of Houston, Texas, James (Sonya) Little of Cleburne, Texas and Moses Little of Talladega, Alabama; Godparents, Willie P. and Leola Barclay of Talladega, Alabama; three special friends and coworkers, Allen Vincent, Aaron Pate and Robert Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends too numerous to name.
