Obituary For Quaid Thomas

( September 6, 1971 --- April 27, 2022 )

PLANO--- Funeral services for Mr. Quaid Thomas, 50, of Plano, Texas are scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2 p.m. The service will be held at St. Titus Church of God in Christ with Supt. Richey Johnson serving as eulogist. FACE MASK RECOMMENDED under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Thomas was born on September 6, 1971 and transitioned on April 27, 2022. He was a 1989 graduate of Chapel Hill High School, received his Degree in Kinesiology from Trinity Valley College and attended East Texas State University. He was a member of Waters Temple Church of God in Christ where he was a former choir member. Mr. Thomas was a district manager for Glazers.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas, grandparents: Joel and Lerline Choice Waters, step grandmother: May Helen Waters, mother-in-law: Linda Kennedy and father-in-law: Cleophus Swain. Left to cherish his precious memories are his spouse: Kimberly Thomas of Plano, two daughters: Kiara Swain of McKinney and Kaitlyn Thomas of Tyler; three sons: Quabrien Thomas of Plano, Quabrick Thomas and finance, Alexis Samano of Allen, Texas, Cohlby Thomas of North Dakota; mother: Francis Waters Tave of Tyler, Texas; one brother: Undrasus Thomas of Collin County and one sister: Olivia Tave of Tyler

Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 6th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
