Funeral services for Mr. Clinton Newsome are scheduled for Saturday May 14, 2022 at 10am at Laird Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in the Griffith Cemetery.

Visitation Services for Mr. Clinton Newsome will be Friday May 13, 2022 from 1-7 pm at Laird Mortuary Chapel.

Still missing you! I was just sitting here thinking about the good times we all had on Hall's Lane. How we use to sit around and watch the Lakers and the Celtics go hard. Dad was for the Celtics; you were for the Lakers. Missing the times, we use to sneak out and go riding without mom and dad knowing. Clint, we miss you so much (Barbara, Charles, Linda, Renee, Stephanie, Pat, Jacqueline and Tomeka). Please continue to watch over us. I know you and dad are having a wonderful time in HEAVEN. Uncle Clint, words can never begin to describe the pain I felt when hearing the news that your life had been taken. All of my life you've always protected all of your nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters. April 22, we weren't there to protect you. To my uncle....Thank you for loving me, help raise me, giving to me generously, and always offering advice to me. You taught me how to ride my first horse. You were the uncle that would take us to the store and buy whatever we wanted. When I was sick with cancer, you would come lay your eyes on me from time to time.
