A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.

Mr. Roger Waller, age 79 of Norlina, North Carolina departed this life on Tuesday, May 09, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services for Deacon Waller will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00AM at Greenwood Baptist Church 1175 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Warrenton, NC. Pastor Eddie Lawrence will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to join the family at the home after the service.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Ada, and his beloved wife Shirley, of 53 years. Celebrating his memory are one son, Wayne P. Waller of Norlina, NC, one daughter, Tiffany N. Waller of Winston-Salem, NC, one grandson, Preston D. Waller of Henderson, NC, two granddaughters – Bretney N. Waller of Knoxville, TN and Tymberlyn Y. Williams of Butner, NC and one great-granddaughter, Jhournie J. Williams of Butner, NC. He is also survived by one brother, William A. Waller (Bessie) of Norlina, NC, one sister-in-law Alma Lee Smith of Oxford, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 from 12Noon-6:00PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, N.C.
