Levi Robinson, Jr.

Levi Robinson, Jr. was born September 10, 1924 in Terrell County, Georgia and was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Sirvilla Robinson; his sisters, Minnie Terry, Rosa Watson, and Maudie Strange; brother, Floyd Robinson; wife, Faye Belle Robinson; grandson, Jason Robinson; and son, James "Pee Wee" Robinson.

He was educated in the Terrell County Schools. At an early age he was baptized into the fellowship of Mount Mary Baptist Church in Sasser, Georgia. After relocating to Fort Pierce in his early life he became a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served in the choir, church secretary, and Chairman of the Deacon Board. Until his passing, he was Deacon Emeritus at First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

During his later years, he relocated to Miami and married Idell Souter and became a became of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board. Levi's occupation was the Property Manager for K & L Properties (Benton's Quarters) for many years where he was admired and loved by the residents living there. He had a great passion for fishing.

Levi made his transition from life here to life eternal on Monday May 2, 2022.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Idell Souter Robinson; six children he shared with his late wife Faye, Benjamin (Ethel) Robinson, Jacquelyne Robinson Showers, Patricia (Robert) Smith, Sharon (Donald) Butler, Bruce Robinson, and Daryl (Shirley) Robinson; sister-in-law, Queen Townsend; brother-in-law, John Souter; eleven grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Public visitation for Levi Robinson, Jr. will take place on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at First Bethel Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. A private homegoing serivce will be held for the immediate family.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
