Obituary For Joe Frank Allen

Joe Frank Allen was born on September 10, 1935, to the late Haven and Mamie Allen of Sallis, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by four brothers: J.D. Allen, James Earl Allen, Lonnie Allen, and Luther Allen. One sister Earlie Mae Johnson.

He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Cedar Grove M.B. Church.

He was united in holy matrimony on February 5, 1966, to Annie B. Kitchens. To this union six children were born. Two boys and four girls, two daughters preceded him in death. Dorothy Ann Moore, and Ti'Kema Tremetris Winters.

He was employed in construction, Fleetwood, Shelly Globe, and JackPost.

He enjoyed baseball, hunting, visiting friends, and riding his loving wife everywhere.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Annie B. Kitchens Allen, two sons: Frankie Lane (Wilma) Kitchens of Sallis, MS; Terry (Dorothy) Allen of Kosciusko, MS; Two daughters: Annette (Joe Nathan) Barksdale, and Jonise (John Jr.) Allen, both of Sallis MS; Sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren. A host of special friends and family.

INTERMENT: New Center Ridge Cemetery Sallis, MS
