Graveside service will be 12:00 noon EST, Monday, May 16, 2022 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Eufaula, AL with Elder Jimmy Ivey, III, officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Anthony Andrew Ivey was born March 20, 1979 in Eufaula, AL to Frank James Ivey, Sr and Martha Virginia Ann Ivey.
He was a Class of 1997 graduate of Russell County High School. At an early age Anthony learned the trade of Construction and Brick Masonry and was employed with Ivey Contracting until he branched out as a self employed construction worker. He was the type of person that kept a smile on his face and was full of life. He had plenty of friends and will truly be missed.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Frank James Ivey, Jr.; two grandmothers, Beatrice Knowles and Minnie Ivey; two grandfathers, Jimmy Ivey and Willie Jackson, Jr.; seven uncles, Jimmy Ivey, John Lee Knowles, Ronald Harper, John Avery, Sr., Willie Avery, Carlton Davis and David Lee Screws, Sr.; two aunts, Mary Lou Knowles and Carrie Lou Screws.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Frank James Ivey, Sr. and Martha Virginia Ann Ivey; two daughters, Tiara Ivey of Beaurgard, AL and Askia Ivey of Opelika, AL; two sisters, Belinda Ivey (John) of Georgetown, GA and Erica Ivey Tate of Phenix City, AL; brother-n-law, Kelvin Tate of Eufaula, AL; eight aunts, Emma Johnson (Will) of Lenoir, NC, Ruthie Knowles Harper of Pittsview, AL, Minnie Davis of Conroe, TX, Annie Pearl Moore of Quincy, FL, Barbara Leonard of Ft. Myers, FL, Ora Mae Knowles of Columbus, GA, Mary Ivey of Phenix City, AL and Regina Cold (Michael); three uncles, Joseph Avery of Pittsview, AL, Patrick Ivey (Velma) of Stone Mountain, GA and Marshall Ivey (Chistina) of Lithonia, GA; wife, Latricia Ivey of Phenix City, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
