We met in 7th grade. Ant introduced himself. Asked me how my mom was doing after I told him I was from Crawford. Every time I saw him he asked me how my family was. Bug smile, big heart. Never an angry day. If I ever did something out of character, he'd say dont disappoint yo mama. You better than that. Always lifted me up saying I'd do big things. The last time I saw him a few years back we hugged and laughed. He told me he wanted me to meet his family and he'd love to come to see me in Florida. We never got that chance. This one hurts. Reat well Ant, everyone that knew you knows God got you now. Heaven is a better place with you.

The Ivey family is just like family....we are all from southern, southeast Russell County, Alabama. Our families have known each others for years. We know each other on a personal level. Ant was just like a little brother to me. I have always enjoyed his presence. I have enjoyed his father's, mother's and other family members presence. He will be truly missed!
