Obituary For Reverend Pastor Ralph White, Jr.

Obituary

Rev. Pastor Ralph White, Jr. will be remembered as a southern gentlemen, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and an honorable pastor. Never in a lifetime would one have met such a man as Pastor Ralph White, Jr. A Godly man and a loyal servant to all humanity. He believed that service is the payment for ones living, and thus Rev. Pastor Ralph White, Jr. lived to love and loved to serve. He pastored four churches throughout his lifetime.

Pastor Ralph White, Jr. was born on December 7, 1943, to the late Ralph White, Sr. and Omega (Thomas) Hollis in Nashville, Georgia. After finishing high school, he worked as supervisor at Nashville Textile Company for over 20 years until he retired. His hobbies were fishing, watching sports and spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Pastor Ralph White, Jr. made Jesus Christ his personal Lord and Savior after being baptized in Jesus name. He was a kind man, one who never complained even until his transition. God saw fit to finish writing his earthly story and he answered the Masterโ€™s call on May 3, 2022 at 1:30am at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Denise Greene and his two of his siblings Gladys Anderson and Michael White. As he entered into the arms of Jesus, his family worshiped God and prayed with him into his eternal rest. Pastor Ralph White, Jr. in his words has โ€œdone what we all have to do.โ€ There will be a time when our bodies will get tired and we have to lay them down in order to receive our crowns. Pastor Ralph White, Jr. has reached the city were we will never grow old. There standing in the midst of the streets on either side of the river, the tree of life and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. For God has wiped away all his tears from his eyes and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying. No pain and no suffering. Pastor Ralph White, Jr., a man who lived for God is now able to rest with God.

His legacy will continue to live through his loving, devoted wife of 42 years Willie B. White, Valdosta GA; his children Anthony (Derika) White, Harker Heights, TX, Tamela Downs, Valdosta, GA, Christopher (Iesha) White, Atlanta, GA, Ralph White III, Tampa, FL; God daughter Gloria Ann (Herbert) McRoy; siblings Carolyn White, Nashville, GA, Harry White, Nashville, GA; 22 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. What a man, what a good man, and an exceptional example of a husband, father, pastor and a friend.
