To Phyllis and Family: My deepest condolences for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting him, a quiet laid back guy. I'm sure there are so many precious memories that will never be forgotten that will forever keep him close to your heart. I'm praying for strength through this difficult time. Love, Wanda Dudley

My Brother, My Friend, My Protector. Larry was probably the strongest man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and of growing up under. He was his OWN MAN...ALWAYS...so DECISIVE, and so stubborn! I ask Nina, and Li'l Larry, to find it in their hearts to forgive him for his faults. He, like so many of us did not grow up with a father who showed him how to be a loving and tender man, father, or husband. Often ridiculed just for being, he built an insurmountable wall around his tender, tender heart. Unfortunately, his wall was so strong that it did not allow much tenderness to come through. I know he loved you both. But in this world that "never stops coming at you," he just didn't know how to let others in. Even his own...but I know he loved all whom he encountered. So please forgive him for those 2 weaknesses, and do not allow them to define you as you proceed in your journey through life. take that insurmountable stubbornness, and that immeasurable strength and allow it to push you beyond your potential. And become EVERYTHING you want to become in this world. Stand on that strength (I have)and do not allow anything, anybody, or anyone in this world to pull you down. I can't end this w/o talking about how intelligent, practical, intuitive Larry was. He was so amazingly intelligent, even when he was at his worst, practical knowledge and common sense exuded from him. Larry, My Brother, My Friend, I'll always love you, I will FOREVER miss you, because when you left this earth, a part of me went wth you, but I thank GOD for your leadership in my life, i will forever find great comfort and strength, in knowing that a part of you will forever reside in me. Amen!
