Obituary For Mary L Watts

Life Reflections of Mary Lou (Williams) Watts Mary Lou (Williams) Watts (A.K.A. Lou Lou) was born on October 7, 1940, to the late Willie (Bill) Williams and the late Inez (Williams) Haynes.

Lou Lou attended Pinellas High School, where she participated in the band as a clarinet player. She graduated and received her diploma on May 31, 1959.

She accepted Christ at an early age, living right next door to the church – New Zion Missionary Baptist on Brownell Street in Clearwater, FL, where she also sang in choir #2 for many years. She loved the Lord.

On May 12, 2022, the Lord opened the gate, and the angel of the Lord whispered into Lou Lou’s ear… it’s time, my faithful servant. Preceded in death by her parents, Willie Williams Sr. and Inez (Williams) Haynes, her brother, Willie Williams Jr., and grandson, Gregory Williams II.

Left to cherish the fond memories are her loving children:

Sons: Lysander Bell (Jacqueline), Atlanta, GA; Gregory Williams and Kenneth Watts, Clearwater, FL.

Daughters: Daphne Daniels, Clearwater, FL, and Sebrena Williams, Atlanta, GA.

Grandsons: Kendrick Johnson, Jamarian Jones, Jonathan Daniels, Alexander Bell, Donte Whiting, Jaquise Brown, Major Marchman.

Granddaughters: Dineisha Daniels, Shaneekua McDaniels (Franklin), Tatyana Williams, Princess Thompson (Courtney), Porcsha Zachary (James), Diamond Bell, Shana Ludwig.

Uncles: Van Chisholm (Peggy), Detroit, MI, and Walter Chisholm (Joyce), Miami, FL.

Godsisters: Mamie Billups and Rev Evelyn Kendrick.

Special Friend: Pamela Montgomery.

A host of cousins and friends.

Her main employers were Morton Plant Hospital as a housekeeper and Sperry Univac, where she retired after over 25 years. She was not satisfied staying at home, so she found a little something else to do, so she landed a job as a cook at the Community Pride, where she enjoyed feeding the children. She continued working here for about 15 additional years, and she finally retired for real.

Lou Lou treated everyone with love and kindness, and she especially loved her children and grandchildren. You could not stop Lou Lou from cleaning and cooking. She tried to do this up until her last breath. She will truly be missed!
