Obituary For Hezekiah Thomas

Hezekiah Duwayne Thomas was born on July 28, 2000 to Duwayne Thomas and Schemika Thompson in Fayetteville, N.C. On Sunday, May 8, 2022 the Lord called him home to receive his external reward.

Hezekiah received his formal education in the public school system in Brooks County Georgia. In May of 2018 when Hezekiah graduated from Delta Innovative School, he also graduated from Wiregrass Dual Enrollment. Hezekiah went on to receive his Associate of Science Degree at South Georgia State College and completed his degree in December 2020.

Hezekiah served in the U.S. Army. He was currently attending South Georgia State College earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Hezekiah was employed at Walmart. He enjoyed singing, traveling, cleaning, washing cars and attending church. He was baptized an early age. Hezekiah was proceeded in death by his grandmother, great grandmother and great grandfather.

Hezekiah leaves to cherish his precious memories, Mother: Schemika Thompson, Father: Duwayne Thomas, Grandmother who raised Hezekiah, Marilyn J. Thomas, Brothers, Sisters, Great Grandmother, Special Aunt Shania L. Thomas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great aunts and uncles, a mass host of friends. Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Hezekiah D. Thomas will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Christian Center, Quitman, Georgia; Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Public Viewing: Friday, May 20, 2022 from 12:00-6:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel. Professional Services entrusted to Blankumsee, Thomas & Wright Funeral Services of Quitman, Georgia.
