Obituary For Connie Wright

Mrs. Connie Jean Wright, 61, of 1404 Beverly Ave. Shelby NC peacefully transitioned from this world on May 18th, 2022, at Atrium Health in Shelby. Connie was born on August 30th, 1961, to the late Johnell and Betty Gean Poston.

Connie loved life. She loved working, cooking, cleaning, playing cards, and taking care of her family. Connie worked in Textile Mills for many years of her life, there she gained several friends that loved her.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Denise Poston, and a grandmother, Edna Mackins.

Leaving behind to cherish her fond memories, husband, Michael Wright; 3 children, Suzanne Little, of Gastonia, N.C., Shannon D. Wright, ( Tyreece), and Cherena M. Wright both of Shelby, N.C; 3 sisters, Inez Poston, Lori Ann Poston, and Angela S. Poston; 4 brothers, Johnny L. Poston, Willus D. Poston, Nicklous Poston, and Anthony S. Poston; 5 grandchildren, Kenteria Z. Washington, Zavius J. Little, Shuntrice Z. Austin, of Gastonia, N.C., Takyra Bostic, Tyreece Bostic Jr., and Ny’Davian E. Hopper all of Shelby, N.C as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and family including 2 special friends, Joann Degree, and Stephany Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 4:30 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 4:30 PM. Enloe is in charge of the arrangements.
