Obituary For Darrell A Young

Darrell Anthony Young was born on September 8, 1963, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Evan Young, Jr and Buris Young.

He was a graduate of Seminole High School, Class of 1982, where he played basketball and football. Darrell was employed in construction as a brick mason for over 30 years. He enjoyed and found peace when he was fishing. Darrell enjoyed being at the beach, watching basketball and football, grilling and being with his family. He often spoke about wanting to travel more. Darrell always had a smile on his face and a hug or kiss to share. He had a great sense of humor and always kept everyone laughing and their spirits up. Darrell was of the Baptist faith.

Darrell Anthony Young departed this life on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Glades County, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shira Young, mother, Buris Young, father, Evan Young, Jr. and sister, Saune “Nana” Young.

He leaves to cherished loving memories to…..

His significant other of 28 years: Yolanda Newton

Sons: Cordero L. Williams “Cord” and Zyontae Young “Tae”

Daughter: Shaneisha N. Walton “Sheena”

Brother: Ricardo L. Young

Sisters: Cynthia Bradley, Loretta Young, Lola Young, Evaynna Young and Morgan Young

Grandchild: Chance Williams

Sister-in-law and road trip partner: Dena

A host of beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service: Saturday May 21, 2022, 2:00 PM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 13255-118th Street No., Largo, FL 33770.
