Obituary For Cameron Deion Traylor

Cameron Deion Traylor passed on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thomaston-Upson County Civic Center. Interment will be held in the Salem Cemetery. Trice Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements. Please keep the Traylor family in prayer.

Cameron Deion Traylor was born on November 24, 1999, to parents of Doris Jordan Traylor and Curtis Traylor in Salem Community Upson County, Georgia. He joined Salem Baptist Church at an early age. Cameron played A-U Basketball almost all his youth ages. He was a 2018 graduate from Upson Lee High School where he played football and basketball. He help bring two championships to the city. During the summer, Cameron would with his Uncle Randy at the Pike County Golf Course. After graduation, he attended combined Academy Basketball in North Carolina and later attended Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana. In November 2021, Cameron went to work for Radial Warehouse where he was currently working, Cameron was a lovable person and was loved by many.

THE JOURNEY ENDS Cameron Traylor leaves to cherish his memories a legacy of family and friends which includes his parents, Doris and Curtis Traylor of the Salem Community; two brothers. Kendrick Traylor and Curtis Lequan Traylor both of the Salem Community; maternal grandmother, Ruby Jordan of the Salem Community; nieces and nephews. Tykel Traylor Kiloni Traylor and Amirah Traylor; a loved friend Madison Bulloch; aunt and uncles, Randy Jordan, Andrew Jordan , Freddie Davis, of Griffin, GA Carter Davis, Veron Walker Evelyn Colbert, Leslie (Phillip) Willis and Delbra (Frank) Dawson all of the Salem Community; Jacquelyn (Freddie Harmon, Lenton Hicks, Priscilla (Willie) Lumpkin, Jan (Earnest) Dixon, Jacob Dugger all from Reynolds, Georgia and Brenda Harvey of Butler, Georgia; as host of cousins, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

Mr. & Mrs. Traylor I remember Cameron just like it was yesterday when we had him on our baseball team me & Ray always thought of Cameron as one of our own he was such a fun and enjoyable person to be around. I was so saddened to hear of his passing my heart is breaking for such a great loss my condolences for you and may God be with Cameron and with you and your family.
