Alonza Gene Peterson, 71, of Norwalk, CT died May19, 2022 in Norwalk, CT.

His funeral service is Friday, May 27, 2022, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Canaan Institutional Baptist Church 31 Concord St, Norwalk, CT 06854. The interment will follow at the State Veterans Cemetery.

Alonza is survived by his children, Olivia Dardy, of Norwalk, CT and Muhammad Ali Dardy, of Bridgeport, CT; mother, Emma King Peterson, of Vanceboro, NC; brothers, Leo Peterson, of Taunton, MA and Clinton Peterson, of New Bern, NC; five sisters, Gloria Peterson, Vanceboro, NC, Barbara Burke,Brockton MA, Doris Richards, Havelock, NC, Willie May Moore, Dover, NC; several beautiful grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
