Obituary For Troy Junes Hall

Troy Junes Hall was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor. He passed away peacefully on May 18, 2022. Troy was born on January 21, 1945, to Curtis Odell and Mary Williams Hall in Beulaville, NC. Shortly after he graduated from high school, he moved to Greensboro, NC. A few years after his move, he met and married the love of his life who he fondly called ‘Honey’. Troy received several employee recognition awards for his hard work. After he retired from Kmart Distribution, he was able to focus on his favorite past time, lawn care, which flourished into a successful business.

Troy was preceded in death by Curtis Odell and Mary Williams Hall (parents), Helen Whidbee (sister) and Alexander Platt (brother-in-law). He leaves to cherish his memory, Cynthia Hall (wife), Nichole Norwood (daughter), Anthony Hall (son), Cory Norwood (son-in-law), Kendall Norwood (grandson), Mary Doris Carlton (sister), Annie Lois Platt (sister), Alexander Hall (brother) Elizabeth Hall (sister-in-law), Ethel Nixon(sister) Bobby Nixon (brother-in-law), Patricia Diallo (sister), Cynthia Lennon (sister) Jerry Lennon (brother-in-law), Penetha Rush (sister) Robert Rush Jr. (brother-in-law), Phillip Hall (brother) Debra Merriweather (sister-in-law) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on May 31, 2022, from 12 pm -1 pm at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 E. Market Street Greensboro, NC 27401. The viewing will be held from 11:30 am-12:00 pm preceding the funeral service. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery 3901 Forest Lawn Drive Greensboro, NC 27455 following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society on his behalf.
