Obituary For Joseph Williams

Joseph Williams was born on May 18, 1949, in Clearwater, Florida, to Albert Williams and Lizzy Bea Kitchen.

He graduated from Pinellas High School, Class of 1967.

Joseph served in the United States Navy from 1967-to 1969, receiving the National Defense Medal. He was employed as an aluminum siding installer for Jacobson Mobile Homes.

Joseph enjoyed fishing, traveling, and cooking for family and friends. He was Baptist.

Joseph Williams departed this life on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Clearwater, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Williams, Lizzy Bea Kitchen, sisters Betty McGlockton, Mary Moore, and Gwendolyn Ashly, and brother, Timothy Williams.

His wife of 30 years: Mattie Williams

Son: Stylor Chriss (Sherie Davis), of Amsterdam, NY

Daughters: Charlotte Williams, Trude Williams and Antionette Williams, all of New Orleans, LA

Brother: Freddie J. Williams of Punta Gorda, FL

Sister: Roberta Williams of Tallahassee, FL

12 grandchildren

12 great-grandchildren

Raised as his own with love: Cornelius Devine, Donesha Devine and Raphael Gordon

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
