Obituary For Allen "Al" Mauldin

LANCASTER --Funeral services for Mr. Allen Mauldin, 52, of Lancaster, Texas will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. The service will be held at El Bethel Baptist Chruch in Overton, Texas with Rev. F.L. Curry serving as eulogist. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Mauldin was born on July23, 1969 and transitioned on May 19, 2022. He was born to the parentage of the late Joe and Annie Jackson Mauldin Sr.

He graduated from Arp High School resident of Dallas County over 10 years and a member of El Bethel Baptist Church where he was a former choir member. He had his own yard service for almost three years and loved the outdoor life.

Preceding him in death was his parent and two grandchildren. His memories will be cherished in the hearts of his spouse, Annie F. Brown-Mauldin of Lancaster, Texas; one son: Alfreddie Mauldin of Overton, Texas and three others whom he raised as his own: Erica Mauldin of Tyler, Eric Mauldin Jr and Lawrence Emeadi bot of Odessa. He was loved by his wife's daughter and two sons: Tia Brown, Marquis Brown and Dedrick Brown all of of Lancaster, Texas; one sister: Yolanda Mauldin Lewis of Tyler, Texas; seven brothers: Terry Jackson of California, Eric Mauldin, Charles Mauldin, Joe Mauldin and Anthony Mauldin all of Overton, Texas; Kevin Mauldin and Andre Mauldin of Tyler, Texas; a host of grand and great grand children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be on Friday, May 27th beginning at 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The repast will follow the committal at the Jackson Community Center.
