Jesse married the love of his life, Vera Mae Dodd on October 30, 1960, and to this union four extraordinary children were born.
Jesse was a hardworking auto mechanic and dedicated employee for Allis Chalmers until he retired. After retirement, his love of the south lead him to move back to Kosciusko, MS. Jesse was a "straight shooter" he said what he meant and meant what he said. He was a proud man and was well respected. He was strong, determined, and strong-willed but he was also warmhearted. Jesse was a born-fixer and good with his hands. He never met a tool or piece of equipment that he claimed he could not fix and (as his wife watched in dismay) he would bring it home to work on it. Jesse enjoyed gardening and whether in Milwaukee or Kosciusko, with one look, you could see his gardening skills were exceptional. He will be fondly remembered for his dedication and love for his family, church, friends, valuable lessons, gardening, and remarkable memory. We are truly blessed to have called him dad, Jack, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend!
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Otho T. Greenlee and Ida B. Greenlee; wife Vera Mae Greenlee; brothers: Talmadge Greenlee, James V. Greenlee, Lenard R. Greenlee, Renard L. Greenlee, Pearl S. Greenlee; sons: Jerry L. Greenlee, Gerald A. Greenlee; great grandchild: Laryah Jean Cooper.
