Obituary For Marquice Hill

Marquice Hill was born on Saturday, May 18, 1974, to James Hill & Juanita Davis in Palatka, FL. He received his education in the Putnam County School District where he subsequently graduated from Palatka High School. Marquice was a member of First-Born Church of the Living God under the leadership of Bishop Walter L. Smith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children. Marquice choice of career was masonry for 30 plus years where he was employed with Jim Gilmore Masonry for many years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in eternal rest by his dad, Gerald Davis; maternal grandmother, Lera Mae Lewis; brother, Derry Pedraza; uncle, Ulysses Lewis; paternal grandmother, Florine Hill; maternal grandfather, Moses Lewis, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his many memories: wife, Angelia Hill; mother, Juanita Davis; children, Kegan Hill, Eddie Tripp, Markeisha Russaw, Marquice Hill, Jr., Marquasha Hill, Marcus Hill, Marquez Hill, Marquice Hill; silblings: Angela Jenkins (Kentrell) Edwards, Victor (Cynthia) Hill, Miguel (Elizabeth) Pedraza, Marquise Johnson, Kevis (Sophia) Hill; aunts, Rosa (Felton) Watson, Fluorine Hill; uncle, Moses (Susan) Lewis, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends for a viewing an hour prior to the graveside service at 10:00a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
