Obituary For Mrs. Ruth Poe Edwards

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Poe Edwards will be held on Thursday, June 9th at 11:00AM in Unity Springs Baptist Church on Hwy. 495 in DeKalb. Rev. Reginald Brumfield, Pastor will officiate.

Mrs. Edwards, 87, was a DCW employee at East MS State Hospital when she retired. She leaves to cherish her memories, 1 son Larry Edwards of DeKalb, MS; 1 daughter, Penny (David E. ) Holt of Meridian, MS; 1 brother, John Poe of Detroit, MI; 4 sisters, Bobbie Jean Caldwell and Ora Lee Reese both of Detroit, MI; Hattie Hockenwell of Gulfport, MS and Willie Poe of DeKalb, MS. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 8th,2022 from 1 - 7:00PM. Enterprise Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
