Obituary For Esthers Dickson

Esthers “Butch” Dickson, 64, departed from this life on June 1, 2022. He was born on July 4, 1957, in Lancaster County South Carolina. He was the son of the late Isaac, Sr., and Ada Lee Witherspoon Dickson.

Butch was a member of White Oak AME Zion Church.

Butch was educated in the Lancaster County School System. He was a 1975 graduate of Lancaster High School.

Those left to cherish fond memories are one son, Esthers Dickson II of Lancaster, SC; three daughters, Elizabeth Huey (Jimmy) of Lancaster, SC, Lawanda Mobley of Waxhaw, NC, and Kertisa Williams of Charlotte, NC; one stepson, Frank Johnson of Columbia, SC; one brother, Isaac Dickson, Jr. (Mary) of Harleysville, SC; two sisters, Ora L. McClanahan (Frank) and Inetta Dickson of Van Wyck, SC; one uncle, Clarence Witherspoon of Van Wyck, SC; two aunts, Ruth Waldon of Silver Springs, MD and Mabel L. Witherspoon of Washington, DC; a special friend, Carrie B. Bull; one sister-in-law, Reverend Margaret Dickson; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at White Oak AME Zion Church, 1281 W Rebound Road, Van Wyck, South Carolina 29744 with burial in the church cemetery. Funeral Service will be conducted by Reverend Vincent Meekins, Jr.

Viewing will be 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2022, at Stewart Funeral Home.
