MR. JAYVEN REON MARTIN, SR. – Age 22, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee formerly of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 with his brother Sayveon James Martin from an automobile accident. Jayven was born May 9, 2000. He was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, LaFayette, GA. He was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School Class of 2018 where he was on the varsity football team. He was last employed with Retail Direct as a Delivery Driver. He was preceded by his father, Morris James Martin, paternal grandparents, Jerry and Charlotine Martin.

He is survived by his son, Jayven Reon Martin, Jr.; mother, LaRhonda Gail Martin; stepmother, Tasha Martin; sisters, Zaria Martin, Jaylaan Dallas, and Jaleah Dallas; brother, Jaylon Walker; maternal grandparents, Herman (Robbie) McSears, and Joan Ware; special friend, Toneisha Baker, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be Saturday June 11, 2022 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 289 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, GA 30728, with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, Eulogist. Jayven and Sayveon Martin will lie in state on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at the church. Following COVID-19 guidelines, the family is asking attendees to please wear a mask.
