Obituary For Andre Darnell Robinson Jr.

Mr. Andre Darnell Robinson Jr., 34, Birmingham, AL., departed this life on June 3, 2022. Sincere condolences and prayers for family and friends.

LIFE REFLECTIONS

Andre Darnell Robinson, Jr., was born June 27, 1987, in Chicago, IL to the union of Ms. Patrice M. Harlson and Mr. Andre Robinson, Sr.

At an early age, he united with Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago. He was baptized by the late Reverend Hilliard C. Hudson. There he served in the youth choir, Sunday School, and youth ministries. In the fall of 1996, he moved to Birmingham, AL and united with Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, Fairfield, AL.

He was educated at St. Felicitas Catholic School, Chicago, IL and in the Birmingham City School System. He attended C.J. Going Elementary, Huffman Middle School, and graduated from Huffman High School class of 2005. He attended Fortis Institute and obtained his HVAC certification.

He was involved with the Northeast YMCA in sports and after school activities, as well as little league sports (baseball, basketball, and football).

He was most recently employed by Autocar Birmingham. During his time at Autocar, he gained a loving and caring work family that he adored.

God called him home on Friday, June 3, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary L. Harlson; special aunts, Margaret Wright, Helen Buckner, and Elizabeth Woods; and special uncles, Lexa Wright, David Buckner, and Paul Jerry.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two devoted sons, Andre III and Jayden; devoted daughter, Jazz; loving mother, Patrice M. Harlson; father, Andre Robinson, Sr., of Chicago, IL; Loving fiancee’, Adrienne Smoot; sisters, Samanda, Cashuna, and NiKalya; brothers, Kenneth, Andre, and Jamari; grandmother, Rosie Kelly; special great-aunt, Grace Jerry of Jamaica, NY; mother-in-love, Valencia Smoot; sister-in-love, Sade Smoot; special aunt, Tammy Woods; special uncle, Thomas Harlson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and a host of devoted cousins and many dear friends.
