Ms. Betty “Bet” Drakeford Sterling, 69, departed from this life on Sunday, June 5, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Steve, Sr., and Margaret Clyburn Drakeford.

Left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Terry Howze (Tracey) of Lancaster, SC; two sons, Patrick Sterling and Sherick Sterling both of Lancaster, SC; two sisters, Janice Walcott of Simpsonville, SC and Margaret Morgan of Lancaster, SC; two brothers, Alfred Drakeford (Edna) of Waxhaw, NC and Steve Drakeford, Jr. (Iva Lee) of Heath Springs, SC; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 4143 Uriah Road Kershaw, SC. Services will be conducted by Reverend Reggie L. Bodrick.
