Funeral Service will be 12:00 noon EST, Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Bernard Anderson, officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. Visitation is Monday, June 13th, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Nikita Arthur Carter, Sr. was born December 16, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Albertis and the late Francis Jones Carter. He was the youngest of six. He confessed Christ and joined the Greater Beulah Baptist Church of Columbus, Georgia and proudly served in the United States Army.
Cherished memories are entrusted to his loving wife, Barbara M. Carter of Salem, Alabama; son Nikita Carter, Jr. (Paulla) Atlanta, GA; daughters, Mariah Carter, Salem, AL and Jewel (Charlie) Resindez Duluth, GA; two sisters, Jeannie A. Genrette and Gwendolyn A. Carter; sisters-in-love, Josephine “Candy” Carter, Linda (David) Hardge, Willie S. Madden, Nettie (Roy) Chambers and Sarah (Eddie) Jews; father-in-law, Willie J. Madden; three grandchildren, Cedric, Leon, Jasmine; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special brothers and grandchildren.
