Ms. Pamela Joyce Franklin Brooks "Pam", 57, of Phenix City, AL passed Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Atlanta, GA.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Dr. Patrick T. Brown, officiating. Interment to follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, AL. Visitation is Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. EST.

Ms. Brooks was born October 23, 1964 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Martha Alexander Colbert and the late John Echols.

Ms. Brooks accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she was a faithful member of the usher board, graduated from Central High School class of 1982 and retired from Dolly Madison Bakery in Columbus, Georgia after 20 years of service.

Ms.Brooks was a fun, energetic, beautiful soul that loved shopping, especially ordering from QVC. She enjoyed watching her western shows. Spending time with her grandchildren was the highlight of her life. She loved to be with her family and always kept a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Alexander Colbert and John Echols; nurturing father, Jerry Gary; brother, Willie Franklin, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories two sons, Markei (Selina) Brooks, Sr. and Montrice (Celsany) Brooks both of Phenix City, AL; daughter, Brianne (Rohan) Brooks, Phenix City, AL; two brothers, CSM (R) Jerry D. Gary, Fortson, GA and Ronnie (Schelay) Allen, Smiths, AL; sister, Annie Franklin, Phenix City, AL; 13 grandchildren; a special cousin, Vicki Alexander Isome; one best friend since childhood, Lisa Hudson Wright; special friend, Freddie Adams; five nieces; two nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
