As a child, Lanetta grew up in Fort Pierce, FL where she graduated from Fort Pierce Westwood High School and later moved to Atlanta, GA. She was a very loving and outgoing person.
On May 27, 2022, Lanetta had to leave all cares, all future plans, dreams, and most of all, her loved ones behind because God saw fit to call her home Lanetta was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clara Kleckley, Rosa Mae Milien, Riley James Shelton; uncles, Luther Kleckley, Sr. and Bobby Kleckley, Jr.; aunt, Bonita Kleckley; special friend, Charles Resse, Jr.
Lanetta’s infectious smile and upbeat personality will be forever etched in the hearts and minds of her parents, Katrina Ellis and Leonard(Marilyn)Kleckley; children, Kayla Reese, Kamri Reese, Jamori Trebbles, Cedric Culver, Jr., Kendall, Tyree Ellis; grandchildren, Khari Pryor and Ivyoni Reese; sisters, Shonda Burroughs of Vineland, NJ, Melitta Thornton of Fort Pierce, FL, and Ashley Kleckley of Atlanta, GA; grandfather, Bobby Lee Kleckley, Sr.; aunts, Derdre(Charles Tolston), Dorothy(Joshua)Hambrick, Barbara(Jimbo)Harrington, Sharon Joseph, Dorothy Nelloms; uncles, Bobby Ceasar, Rodney Ellis, Kelvin Williams, Eddie Bush, Riley Shelton, Anthony Shelton; very special friend, Johnnie Harris; godmother, Cynthia Adderley; godsisters, Trenee(Marvin)Grimsley, Shavene Ryls, Naketha Smith, Natissa(Terrance)Cooper, Shemeca(Kenny)Sands, Diane Fenell, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will convene on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
