Obituary For Sheppard Green, Sr.

Sheppard Green, Sr. was born July 28, 1946 in Madison, Florida to the late Hiram "Little Bit" White, Sr. and Eliza Green White.

He attended Jenkins High School in Perry, Florida.

He was employed in the Citrus Industry for Graves Brothers and Deerfield for many years until he retired in 2018.

He was a man who loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

On June 4, 2022, Sheppard Green, Sr.'s life book closed at Consulate Health Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Eliza White; sister, Charlene Hayes; brothers, Freddie Lee Green and Warner White; great granddaughter, Khadijah Coley; three nieces.

Sheppard leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Thelma Coley(Travis); Sheppard Green, Jr.; grandchildren, William Simmons(Ebony), Cherrelle Young(Joseph), Latosha Green(Tristan), Tatyanna Ridgeway(Martavious), Sheppard Green III, Lashawn Thompson, Keyshawn Thompson, Maurice Green, and Quincy Green; great grandchildren, Pernell Anderson, La'Darius Simmons, Ja'Niyah Young, Zenelle Sneede, Joseph Young, Ma'Aliyah Simmons, Skyy Sneede, Ayden Simmons, Cornelius Young, Chanelle Young, Khiley Bonner, Kaylee Ridgeway, and Alaya Green; one sister, Martha Green(George); brothers, Gussie Glenn White, Hiram White, Jr., Membrame White, Cleveland Dubose; special friends, Hope Walker, Thelma Sneede, Lewis Sneede; along with a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation for Sheppard Green, Sr. will take place on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach, FL beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Wabassoo Cemetery.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
