Graveside services for Dr. Deloris James Croom of Augusta, GA., will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, 160 North King Highway, Sumter, SC, with internment to follow. Reverend Clarence Moore is officiating.

Dr. Deloris James Croom was born on July 5, 1967 in Manning, SC to Ben and Deloris James. She departed this life on Friday, June 10, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Croom and parents, Ben and Deloris James.

She leaves fond memories her son, Adrine Julius Croom; a nephew (son), Derric Adrian Miller; sisters and brothers, Barbara Ann (Myron) Jones, Willean James, Reverend Dr. Richard (Cassandra) James and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Simmons Funeral Home of Santee, 8824 Old #6 Highway, Santee.

Family and friends may visit the residence of 135 Sawgrass Court, Sumter, or Simmons Funeral Home of Santee.
