Andrew Jackson Burgess, Jr. (Jack), 74, of Richmond, departed this life June 18, 2022. Surviving are his children, Joseph Thomas (Teresa), Michael Bannerman, Donyel Gamble, Nikita Cooke, Dawn Hayes (Shawndel), Kisha Bannerman and Adrianna Burgess; three sisters Pamela Burgess Cooper, Iris Burgess and Iantha Burgess-Smiley; twelve grandchildren, Shanika Kidd (Tremain), Linwood Vaughn (Kerry), LeSuane Vaughn (Kasi), Anisha Bannerman, Keshon Bannerman, Shaquelle Piper, Andre Estep, NarVel Baltimore, Jo' Mar Thomas, Alexis and Alicia Thomas, Alannah Blackwell. ; twenty great grandchildren; two brothers-in-laws, two sisters-in-laws and a host other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held June 24, 2022 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held June 25,2022 at 11:00 am, Scotts Funeral Home. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
