JAMES O. PAYNE, 40, unexpectedly transitioned into eternal life on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was born in Harrisburg, the son of Dannette Williams and Amechie Payne and step-father, Raymond Lyles, Jr. He obtained his GED and was currently employed at Best Western Premier and One Love Home Healthcare as a Patient Care Assistant. He recently began his own business, PA Logistics LLC. James, affectionately known as Jim Boda, had many loves in his life, but none could supersede his girls, he adored them. He loved traveling, cooking, cleanliness, music, animals and people. He loved sports and was a die-hard Steelers fan. Boda loved living life, he would jump on the highway and go anywhere, would do anything he put his mind to, had a certain way about him that caused him to be very attentive to people, always wanting to lend a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Natai Lashawn Williams; his grandparents, Susan Chappell, Rose Payne and James A. Moore; his aunt, Barbara Hughes and his best friend, Sodea Brown. Boda leaves to celebrate his life; his four daughters, Jayonce, Ceyonce, Cajanae and Aaminah Payne; his mother, Dannette Lyles; his father, Amechie Payne; his step-father, Raymond Lyles, Jr.; his sister, Nikita L. Williams (Jason Simmons); his brother, Detrail L. Williams (Tyeesha Williams); his paternal grandfather, Johnny Payne; his six nieces; his three nephews; his great niece; his favorite cousins, Lawrence, Jermaine, David, Mikey and Diddy and a host of other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 21 at 12 Noon in the Sanctuary of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1331 S. 14th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104 with Viewing and Visitation from 11:00 AM until !2 noon and burial in Paxtang Cemetery.
