Graveside service for Carolyn Long, 74, of Covington, GA, formerly of Dothan, AL, will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 2106 Starling Road, Dothan, AL 36303, Reverend Harold McKissic, Sr. will officiate.

Mrs. Long, who passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her home in Covington, GA, was born April 5, 1948, in Houston County, Alabama.

Public viewing and family visitation will be Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. at Scott’s Chapel Hill Mortuary, 814 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL 36303. (Facial covering is required).

Repast immediately following the service at Greater Deliverance Outreach Ministries, Pastor Jerome Kelley, 1000 Montana Street, Dothan, AL 36303.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband, David Long; son Thomas Howard (Debra) Durdin; one brother, Tony Lamair (Alexandra) Burks, Sr.; three grandchildren, Robin Lynn Grantham, Faith Alexandra Durdin and Reagan Skye LeFever; step-children and grandchild, Patravious Long, David (Recon) Long, Jr. and Kiersten Long; nieces and nephews, Karen Patrick-Davis, Karl (Taneen) Patrick, Oscar Page III, Rev. Dr. Tony Lamair (Thandiwe) Burks II, Benjamin Voltz and Alexander (Michelle) Herlan; great nieces and nephew, Bryce Ronald Cobb III, Vashti Elaine Newton, and Jurney DeShazor-Burks; great-great niece and nephews, Bryce Ronald Cobb IV, Ryin Harmony Cobb, and London Embry Webb.
