Obituary For Patricia Dawson

On June 18, 2022, the Lord said, “Well done my good and faithful servant.” and Patricia Elizabeth Dawson was called home to her eternal resting place at age 55.

Pat was a resident of Houston, Tx and a native of Plaquemine, LA

She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents Dr. Peter and Jean Dawson, her brother, Olorun Ti Funmi and longtime companion Reginald Dunn. She will forever be loved by a host of family, friends, first cousins and loved ones.

Visitation will be at 9 am Saturday, June 25, 2022 until the Celebration of Life Services at 11:00 at the Mt. Cyrene B.C., 25159 Dublieux St., Plaquemine, LA. Pastor Chris Dawson Butler, Officiant. Interment at Golden Ridge Cemetery, 27330 Hwy 405 Plaquemine.

I only just met Patricia the first week in May in yoga class at the Houston Police Department. After only talking to her for a few minutes, I was immediately drawn to her kind heart and sweet disposition. We are dedicating our HPD yoga class this afternoon, Thursday, June 23rd, in honor of Patricia and that she is now in perfect peace.
