Obituary For Dymally Shah

MR. DYMALLY SHAH - Age 79, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 in his residence. Dymally was born on March 2, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents Batoolan Peru and Shafarali Shah, and siblings Shairoon Mohammed, Ramzanali Shah, Khadija Ali, and Sakiran Doorgadeen.

Dymally is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Shah; sons Donnelly Shah of Brooklyn, NY and Dimali Shah of New Orleans, LA, daughters and sons-in-law, Salena and Steven Weed of Dalton and Latasha Shah-Paniak and Rafal Paniak of Belleville, NJ; and four grandchildren, Allee Lynn and Ryan Allen Weed, Johnny and Oliver Szcze Paniak, siblings Zalina Mohammed, Zalaka Kirchofer, Hassanaly Shah, Hytali Shah, Khatima Shah, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dymally grew up on the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago. As a young adult, he immigrated to the USA settling in New York City where he was an auto body mechanic and started his family. In 1997, Dymally and his family moved to Ocean Springs, MS. He retired as a welder from Northrup Grumman shipbuilding company. He spent his last years in Dalton with his caring wife and near his eldest daughter and her family. The family will hold a funeral on June 24, 2022 at the Dalton Islamic Center, 2054 Dug Gap Road, Dalton, GA 30720. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
