Obituary For Ireland Ava Lovett

Ireland Ava Lovett, a precious baby girl, was born on January 10, 1965 in Fort Pierce, FL to her loving parents, the late Eugene Paige and Ireland Lovett.

Ireland was affectionately known as "Ava." She was educated through St. Lucie County Public Schools. Ava graduated from Fort Pierce Westwood with the class of 1983. She furthered her education at Indian River Community College, now known as, Indian River State College. She worked for St. Lucie County School Board for 37 years; 9 years at her alma mater Fort Pierce Westwood and 28 years at Southport Middle School as a Data Specialist.

Ava truly was a gift from God to us. Ava was a loyal, loving, and strong individual. Ava cherished her time shopping and spending time with her godchildren, friends, and family.

Ava was a dedicated and faithful servant of the Lord at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. Wherever she was needed, she was there working faithfully in the background.

On June 14, 2022, Ava entered into eternal rest with the Almighty God. He saw that his child needed rest from all her labor. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ireland Lovett; father, Eugene Paige; uncle, Idas E. Stewart, Sr.; aunts, Ruth Bailey and Ophel Matthews.

Ava’s memories shall forever remain in the hearts and minds of her loving brothers, Lewis(Debra)Lovett, Sr. of Maryland, Jerome(Brenda)Lovett of Palm Bay, FL, Terry Paige of North Carolina; extended sister, Monica Bennett of Fort Pierce, FL; nieces, Candyce Lovett, Ashley Yancy, Symone Lovett, Meeyko Lovett; nephews, Byron Lovett, Lewis Lovett, Jr., Derrick Lovett, Jaiden Lovett; godmother, Betty Williams; godchildren, Kendall Gilchrist, Azara Gilchrist, Breanna Williams, Monique Williams, Ashanti Robinson, Tyler Williams, Armon Bennett, KyZiah Gilchrist, Kazi Gilchrist, and Ja’meer Levon Chavis, Jr.

Public visitation for Ireland Ava Lovett will take place on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. We ask that you respect this, as it could very well save your life. We also ask that you acknowledge and execute the 6 feet social distancing guidelines as well.
