Obituary For Leevon Cruse

Leevon Cruse, 66, of Bunnell was born on June 13, 1956, to John and Vera Mae Cruse. On Sunday June 19, 2022, Father’s Day, and Juneteenth, our heavenly Father set LeeVon free from the cares of this world to rest in peace. Although Cruse lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL for most of his adult life, he returned to the city of his roots Bunnell, FL in the summer of 2015. Charlie is preceded in death by parents John and Vera Mae Cruse.

Mourning his loss is a son, Rodrick Cruse, Georgia; one brother, John Cruse Jr., Bunnell, FL; four sisters, Janice Hopkins, Pembroke Pines, FL; Joanne Cobb, Deerfield, FL; Vickie Jones, Georgia; and Rhonda Willis, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; five nephews, Haveard, Gregory, and Christopher Cobb, Deerfield; Jonathan Williams, Pembroke Pines; Dowan Willis, Ft. Lauderdale; six nieces, Alishea Cobb, Ft. Lauderdale; Rochanula and Latoya Dillard, Daytona Beach; Christa Hopkins, Pembroke Pines; Shateria Lewis, Ft. Lauderdale; and Brianna Willis, Ft. Lauderdale; and a host of step siblings, special cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.

The family will receive extended family and friends on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise in Bunnell, FL. The graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, in Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast, FL.
