PUBLIC VISITATION for Ms. Zella Marie Smith-Sanders was Friday, July 1, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service. THE WAKE was from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION & INTERMENT HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Ms. Zella Marie Smith-Sanders of Villa Rica, Georgia was Saturday, July 2, 2022, 10:00 a.m. in Methodist Cemetery in Macon, Mississippi. Reverend Tyrone Stallings, Former Pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Macon, Mississippi was The Eulogist. THE BODY OF MS. SMITH-SANDERS WIAS NOT VIEWED AT THE CEMETERY.

Ms. Jennifer, I'm so sorry about your mom I never had the privilege of meeting her but I know she had to be an amazing woman just look at her daughter. The love , devotion & care you provided her is beyond measure , words or explanation. She was truly blessed to have you as a daughter. You , James & your family have been in our prayers. I know from experience how tough this is but I promise there will come a day when you think of your mom instead of sadness it will bring joy instead of tears it will bring a smile. Some people say you will get over it that's not true but you will get through it ! P.S. Listen Linda :) work is a better , brighter place with you here and I can't wait till you're back! Ms zella sander loved her daughter Jennifer and James to death as well as her family members plus grandchildren my time with ms. Sanders was very humorous especially when taking her to doctor's visit she never want to be late for I would her that won't be late if I will get there on time which I did you never want to be late for a appointment after the visit return home would the famous stop at mick Donald's for her favorite cheeses burger and French fries plus her vanilla soft ice cream sometimes in a cup ot cone when we arrive back she would always tell me to be careful going upstairs the stairs my reply was to say you be careful going upstairs once she made upstairs and back to bed just before I got ready to leave you would a soft can you please get a coke soda sure I say and would here thank you baby then you would her smile so pretty it will be missed 😢 George strawn

Ms.zella was a caring mother of two wonderful children James and Jennifer Sanders whom so held dear to her heart plus her grandchildren even deeper whom also filled her heart with joy happiness it was my pleasure to meet her and help her to go to doctors visit where she me don't drive to fast we go back and forth I telling her that you won't be late her appointment but we weren't when done her next comment we are going to mick Donald's for chesse burger French fries vanilla soft ice cream on the way home going up the stairs ms Sanders would always tell me becareful going upstairs my respond was you becare going upstairs I don't want your daughter to kill me if anything happens to you all made sure she made to bed and have soda have Mick Donald's ms Sanders will be when I first heard about her transition home to God I cried Jennifer calm me down I was shock when she told here comes big brother James saying it okay it will alright then that sad news that she has gone home to be god and otherfamily members ms.sander love you and miss you George strawn 😢
