In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Albert Davis. Memorial Services will be Friday, July 8, 2022 1:00pm at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel.Albert Davis, Sr was born to Ethel and Charlie Davis on December 4th 1944. At an early age they moved to Atlanta, GA from Carrollton, GA. He was raised up in Atlanta, GA and attended Atlanta School System. After graduation he became a taxicab driver. He later got a job at the Shrine Temple in Atlanta where he worked for thirty years. After leaving the Shrine Temple, he became employed at IHL Stihl Company. Albert enjoyed talking about politics, watching wrestling, and playing cards. Although he was easy going; he was a firm believer in saying what he meant and meant what he said. He was highly respected and dependable person who loved his kids and grandkids. Albert’s Journey was completed on Friday, June 24th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents; three children, Tonya, Gerald and Albert Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters; Rita Davis (Athens, GA) and Arlethia Davis (Atlanta, GA); one son, Albert Davis, III (Atlanta, GA); stepchildren, Jamea, Tay Tay and Donyell (all of Atlanta) fourteen grandchildren, Zayne, Lil Man, Fat, Jordan, KK, Dajia, Destiny, Mini me, Lil Tyran, Pinky, Jamiral, Kendra, Erica and Jarmarcus, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives 404-373-3191.
